The 'Hit-man' Rohit Sharma Finally Join Team India For 3rd Test Against Australia, Shares Instagram Story

The Indian cricket team has certainly given fans something to rejoice after winning the Boxing Day test match by defeating Australia by 8 wickets.

Now there is one more good news for fans as the star batsman Rohit Sharma will soon join the Indian side for the third test match. Presently, the 33 years old cricketer is spending his 14-day quarantine period in a 2-bedroom apartment in Sydney.

He was sent to Australia after he passed the fitness test at the National Cricket Academy, Bengaluru; however whether he will be playing the third test match or not will be ascertained only after he will pass the fitness test match which will be taken by Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) after his quarantine period will get over. As per the reports, Rohit Sharma will be joining the team on December 30 and the Mumbai cricketer has also shared an Instagram story in regard to this.

It is also being said that Cricket Australia may shift the venue of the third test match from Sydney to Melbourne due to the sudden increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in Sydney, however there is no confirmation by the Australian board in regard to this decision.

Rohit Sharma suffered a hamstring injury during the IPL 2020 and he missed some of the matches of the league as well. His name was not included in the list of players for the Australian tour but BCCI made it clear that Rohit Sharma and Ishant Sharma’s fitness was being monitored.
